Petaloo & Marion Smith

Petaloo and Marion Smith has had this Amazing blog-hop this week! Today is the last day, and I am showing these two layouts, featuring Botanica flowers from Petaloo and Motley papers and Never Grow Up papers from Marion Smith.

I totally adore Petaloos Spring Botanica flowers, and combined with Marion Smiths Motley collection and Never Grow Up collection, I can say I was in heaven when creating! Once I started I just couldn't stop, so today I have two layouts to share.

The first one is of my youngest sister, a school photo from when she was little. The colors want perfectly with the soft and vintage papers from the Motley collection. I have also used some pieces from the Never Grow Up collection

I have cut frames and roses with leaves from different Motley papers. Love fussy cutting!

The alpha, Typewriter font, is from Dusty Attic.

My next layout is a colorful one! I have worked with Motley papers that I tore and layered. The photos are of my children playing in our pool one summer, and the colors were just right for these papers and flowers.

I cut some frames for this layout too, just couldn't help myself!

A couple of close-ups:

The wrought iron border is from Dusty Attic, as are the mini hinges and mini bicycle.

Thank you for stopping by today!

A laugh is a smile that burst ATC ~ Donna Salazar

Hi! Today I have an ATC to share. I have played with Donna's Mix'd Media Inx Embossing Powder and I so love this stuff! You can do amazing things with it!

I started with a piece of paper, GCD Studios and Donna's Natural Beauty collection, Soaring, and cut it into ATC-size. I then used Emboss Gloss around the edges, dipped them into Embossing powder, color Leather. When heated, the color turns into a deep bronze color - just beautiful!

I then sprayed the paper with Smooch Spritz, colors Wood Stain and Evergreen and quickly sprinkled some more embossing powder on the wet ink and heated with heatgun. Now my piece of paper has splashes of bronze all over it.

Then I cut the words "a laugh is a smile that burst" from the 12x12 pad image sheet from the Natural Beauty collection. I painted the edges with emboss gloss and dipped them into embossing powder, and then i had a cool sentiment for my ATC.

Finally I painted some roses with white gesso and then dipped them into embossing powder (same color: Leather).

Did I mention how fun I had with this powder? Love it!

Thank you for stopping by today!

Minialbum ~ Allt om Scrap

In yesterdays issue of the Swedish e-zine, Allt om Scrap, the designteam created on the theme "coffee". I have made a mini album, and I have stamped using coffee and a cork from a glue bottle. First I painted the album pages with white gesso, to make the coffee stick better.

The album are of my darling children and their cousins, and I'm gonna give the album to my mother as a gift. This way she has pics of all her grandchildren to display :)

Lots of chipboard from Dusty Attic and flowers from Petaloo used here!

The pink butterflies are from Reneabouquets etsy shop - just gorgeous!

Cards for Donna Salzar designs

Hi! Today I have two cards to show you. I have played with papers from GCD Studios and Donna's Natural Beauty Collection and Fun & Funky Collection. I have used black cardstock as a base, which really makes the pink and blue colors pop!

Papers used are Rosey from the Natural Beauty Collection and Funky Swirl from the Fun & Funky Collection.

I have layered pieces of the papers (front and back) and painted with some gesso. I then added pieces of canvas from Want2Scrap and Donna's. Finally I cut out two butterflies using Spellbinders Wonderful Wings die (the largest size), using the same paper.

Then I just added a sentiment and a flair button. As a finishing touch, I sprayed with Smooch Spritz, color green olive on a few spots and used a sponge to paint with gesso on top.

For my second card I used front and back from the Rosey paper, added a piece of canvas and some cheese cloth. Then I used Spellbinders Rose Creation die (three sizes) and made a large flower, using the same paper and some coffee filter.

I finally sprayed and dripped some Smooch Spritz, color Mixed Berries, and added a sentiment, flair button and a flower.

Thank you for stopping by today!
