My reveal layouts with Swirlydoos November kit!

Hi everybody! Today I can finally show you my pages with the amazingly beautiful November kit from Swirlydoos! I have had so much fun creating with this kit - the colors are fabulous and everything goes perfectly together. This kit was so worth waiting for!

So, prepare yourself for lots of photos :)

Layout number one is my sketch layout. Here's the sketch - amazing, isn't it!?

I have used flowers from the main kit, metal pieces from the embellie-kit and embellies from the main kit. Love the butterfly stamps!

My second layout is a bit shabbier - and if you know me you know I love to create shabby!!

The Decorative Scroll #1 is from Dusty Attic, and you can find it in Swirlydoos boutique HERE. It is one of my all-time-fav Dusty Attic chipboard pieces. I have painted it with white gesso and decorated with locks from Prima and Pearls, which can be found in this months kit.

A few close-ups:

Lots of flowers from the flower add-on:

I did a little stamping here and there with the Prima butterfly stamp from the main kit:

My third layout is also a shabby one, but in another color-scheme:

For this layout, I have used flowers and embellishment from the mainkit. The French Flourish Border is another Dusty Attic piece that can be found in the Swirlydoos shop. I have painted it white and decorated with locks and pearls.

My fourth layout is less shabby, but still romantic with lots of flowers from the flower add-on. I have also used super cute butterflies, made my Angelica. Adore these!

I have painted the chipboard piece from Blue Fern Studios with white gesso, misted with peach mist and then embossed with white embossing powder.

If you managed to look at all my photos all the way down here, I have a little bonus for you! Do you remember the Design Team Challenge in my last Swirlydoos post? Well, I don't know if you guessed right, but here is my layout:

Thank you for stopping by today!

Sweet ~ Dusty Attic

Hi there! This layout is my take on the November sketch - a beautiful sketch that I had so much fun interpreting!

I have lots of Dusty Attic chipboard on this one:

Scroll #8 (DA0626)
Decorative Scroll #2 (DA0206)
Vine Border (DA0459)
Flutterbies #2 (DA0713)
Birdcage #5 (DA0678)
Word Pack #4 (DA1077)

I have a little tutorial further down on how I painted the scrolls.

Papers are from Maja Design.

Here's the sketch:

And of course, I have lots of close-ups:

The "sweet" chippie was painted white, then misted with light green mist and finally I added Clear Gloss Varnish (DA0901) on it.

Here's how I painted the scrolls. On the photos you see the smaller ones from the Scroll #8 set, but I have used the same technique on the larger one, and on the decorative scrolls.

First, I painted the scrolls with white gesso. I have then used two different kinds of embossing powder (Mix'd Media Inx) - colors Jasmine and Leather. I have used Emboss gloss as glue.

After the gesso had dried I covered almost the entire chippie with emboss gloss, sprinkled Jasmine embossing powder on it and then dried with my heat gun. This gives a great texture to the chippie!

My next step was to add emboss gloss only to the edges, and then sprinkled embossing powder, color Leather, on top. This powder is brown at first, but after heating it turns into a bronze color - very cool!

A couple of close-ups on the scrolls:

My Everything ~ Dusty Attic

Hi!! I have a new layout to share today - a colorful one! The beautiful papers from Prima needed bot colorful flowers and black accents. I have colored some chipboard pieces, painted one black and also left a couple of pieces raw.

The Vine Corner #2 (DA0897) is an amazing piece and one of my all-time favs! I have painted the pieces white, and then used a sponge to ligthly dabb Dusty in Color - Capri, Cranberry and Black Soot) on them. Tip - if you also add Dusty in Color Clear Gloss Varnish on the pieces they will be even more beautiful!

Behind the photo I have put the Cottage Window with Vine (DA0196), which I painted black to make a frame for my photo. Here's the chipboard piece:

I have then added two of the smaller scrolls from Scrolls #8 (DA0626. I kept these raw to match the papers and flower vine.

And a few more close-ups for you:
